Paw Bhaji Easy & Simple Recipe


Hey Dearies,

This is a very delicious and easy recipe for all of your family and it's great as your Kids will love it plus its healthy.

 It is basically a spicy mashed-mixed vegetable mixture(Bhaji) with bread (PAW)  . .

Now Without Much Time waste Lets Start 

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes: 2-3 and sliced into small portions
  • Tomatoes:4-5 Mashed
  • Vegetables: Well this is the best part, you can add many vegetables if desired like cauliflower, cabbage, beans, peas, beetroot, carrots and so on . .But I usually add Carrots, Beans, peas ,Capsicum 
  • Peas: 1/2 Cup
  • Carrots: 1
  • Beans: 1/2 cup
  • Capsicum:1/2 cup
  • Onion: 1large Chopped
  • Ginger Garlic Paste: 1teaspoon
  • Lemon Juice: 2-3 teaspoon 
  • Pav Bhaji Masala: 2 tablespoon
  • Butter : 4 tablespoon
  • Green Chillies: 2 or as preferred


Instructions:

  • Take up your pressure cooker . .Add all the veggies i.e CARROTS, BEANS, PEAS,CHILLIES CAPSICUM,POTATOES and ONION except the tomatoes and also add 1.5 cups of WATER & SALT. 

  • Cook for 2-3 whistles . 
  • Remove from heat and let it cool down. Then taking a big spoon or a potato masher mash all the veggies together.

  • Then take a wide pan and add the BUTTER to it, then add the GINGER GARLIC PASTE
  • Add the TOMATOES and let it cook for upto 10 minutes
  • After it becomes tender and seems cooked then add the MASHED VEGGIES along with all the water left in the pressure cooker along with the PAW BHAJI MASALA.
  • Add the LEMON JUICE
  • Let it cook till the gravy becomes very thick.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with Cilantro Leaves and a little Blob of BUTTER. (OPTIONAL: Onion slices, lemon wedges and chopped chillies)
  • Serve with PAW /Burger Bread/ Any type of bread while it's hot

This is a very healthy snack which packs in a lot of Veggies and with very less fat so it's a very nice way to convince your kids to have the Veggies.

 Also a great snack for the Winter Evenings. Also It's easy to prepare. 

Takes literally 25 Minutes or less . .If prepared on a Microwave it takes even less time.
